Air purifiers are a hot item these days. They are sold out everywhere as people look to clean deadly viruses, smoke, smog, pollen and bacteria out of the air to try and keep their lungs as healthy as possible. These WiFi connected air purifiers let you turn them on and off from an app, create schedules and timers for your purifier, and let you know when the filter needs a change. Monitor the air quality in your home so you know when it's safe to go to work, meaning make that walk from the kitchen to the home office.

So make sure you know if you've given them your consent to share your gender, date of birth, or contact information. And we do wonder why the app you use to control your smart air purifier needs to access your phone's camera? Unfortunately, we couldn't determine if this product mets our Minimum Security Standards because the company didn't respond to us. So we don't know what measures they take to protect their users. Not knowing that, we have to warn this product could come with *Privacy Not Included. And no one wants to open their home WiFi to hacking because the machine cleaning smog out of their air left them vulnerable to attack.
