Samsung's kid-friendly tablet comes with an interface full of curated kids’ content the company says will keep them "excited to come back for more." Good thing Samsung also includes a host of parental controls to let you monitor screen time and access to all that curated kids' content. For something your kids will spend so much time on, we sure wish Samsung had an easy to find page for parents' to get information about how they do—or don't—protect kids privacy when they use this tablet.
Wat kin der barre as der wat misgiet?
Samsung says the may sell your consumer information to data resellers. That's not fun. That's how you end up on weird email lists or getting targeted with ads about things you thought you only thought about that one time, in your head. Also, Samsung doesn't have an easy to find privacy page for how they handle your kid's personal information. That seems like something they should put front and center for a tablet targeted at kids. All in all, Samsung doesn't seem to take privacy as seriously as they should. For a device designed to get your kid hooked on it, that just doesn't seem good at all.
