Angela Plohman is an experienced nonprofit executive and strategic operations professional with a long track record of building and growing nonprofit organizations and programs.
Based in Montreal, Canada, she has spent over twenty years in key leadership roles in the fields of arts and culture, community building, and technology in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Angela joined Mozilla Foundation in 2012 and has since played many critical roles, including building a strong team that serves as the bedrock of all of Mozilla Foundation’s work. She’s an instrumental leader executing strategic operations that enhance organisational effectiveness and sustainability.
Notably, she has served as the Secretary and Treasurer in multiple Mozilla boards, which included leading efforts to grow Mozilla Foundation’s programs and activations.
She has also served on the Boards of OpenMedia, a Canadian community-driven organization that works to keep the Internet open, affordable, and surveillance-free; the Toronto Biennial of Art; and Le Livart, a non-profit organization whose mission is to democratize access to art and culture, located in a former presbytery in Montreal.
