Amarela works at the intersection of technology and human rights as a technologist, community builder, and researcher. Their work is multidisciplinary and currently focus the protection of human rights defenders and their autonomy in the use of technology, and also in promoting articulations to strengthen the Digital Security ecosystem in Brazil.
