What do you hope that students will be able to do after taking your course? How will you evaluate how well they're able to do this? These are the twin questions of Learning Outcomes and Assessments. It is useful to consider learning outcomes at the beginning of course design or the design of a Responsible Computing intervention and work backward from them to inform the shape of the lesson. Responsible Computing-inspired learning outcomes and assessments can come in different shapes and sizes.
