Discussing Justice and Equity

Encourage students to examine what they think and what aspects of their identity, experience, and training contributes to their perspective.
Información general
Justice refers both to individuals' receiving 'what they are owed', and to a social order that makes that possible. Equity is a related concept, focused on people having 'what they need', even if that is different from having 'the same' that everyone else has. There are a variety of ways in which issues of justice and equity intersect with computing, and each of these is both a reason for discussing justice and equity in relation to Computing as well as an example of what to discuss. This section focuses on three areas: the classroom, industry/discipline, and products.
